Winter Wonderland BookTag

It’s Saturday which means it’s booktag time! This time i’ll be revisiting an old tag i did back in 2015. You could find the original tag [HERE] but it became a private video and now we can’t see it anymore ūüė¶ . Anyway, if you know who the creator of this booktag was, please leave their name and where to find them in the comments down below!

1. What book is so happy and sweet that it warms your heart?

The first time i answered this tag i said Simon Vs. The Homo Sapiens Agenda and i still stand by this choice, but new year new recommendation, so i’ll pick a different one ;

Red, White & Royal Blue

It’s sweet and warm and full of charm. I read it this year and i enjoyed it very much.

2. What is your favorite book with a white cover?

The Hate U Give (The Hate U Give, #1)

I know there are different covers to this book, but this is the one i own, and if i need to choose a book i’ll choose the most powerful i read to this day having a white cover because this is an EXCELLENT book and i think everyone should read it.

3. You’re sitting in a nice comfy chair, wearing a onesie, with a lovely warm hot chocolate but what MONSTER read are you reading?

I haven’t read this book yet, but as every other book by Murakami i Own it. Murakami is one of my favorite authors, but the edition i own of this book has almost 1000 pages, and i’m scared of big books because i fear i won’t read anything for months because i’m trying to fnish this immense book. I have some other huge books i want to read (most of them by Stephen King). I’m just scared of big books right now.

4. It started snowing so you decided to have a snowball fight! What fictional character would you love to have the snowball fight with?

Last time i chose The Weasley Twins, but this time around i think i’d choose someone from the Shadowhunters universe, maybe Magnus Bane or Simon Lewis (a recent favorite)

City of Bones (The Mortal Instruments, #1)

5. Sadly, your fire is beginning to go out. So what book would you tear the last few chapters out to throw into the fire?

Half Lost (The Half Bad Trilogy, #3)

Oh yes, can we burn the last few chapters of this book and pretend they never happened? I always say it, because i truly mean it… this book owns my heart so very much, but it broke it in such little pieces i cannot restore it. So yeah, this is one of my favorite books and i think it has the perfect ending but at the same time i wish it never happened.

6. What book is so close to your heart that you would gift it to someone this Christmas who hasn’t read it but wants to get into reading?

My mom doesn’t read fiction (at all) she just reads essays and self help books, but if i needed to give her one book so she would understand me a little more i’d give her

It might be a little “old”, but it will never not be true. This book understands me perfectly. In every way possible and i totally love it because of it so i would give it to my mom so she understands what it means to be a Fangirl for me.

I tag everyone who wants todo this tag because tags are for having fun!!

If you want you can leave your posts down below so i can see your answers too!

Most Read Authors

We all have our favorites, we all have read way many books by… so, thinking of it i decided to go to my goodreads list and check out for real who are the authors i read the most from.

So, here we are… my top 7 most read authors of all time:

8. Haruki Murakami (4 books): I gotta admit i thought i read more book by him since i own all of them, but i guess i have a way to go with him.. obviously i’ll keep reading them since he has a magnific way of expressing himself and the stories he writes are just AMAZING. A great author for those looking for something more adult than YA. (yeah, i know i said top 7 but he is too important to me, ok?)

7. Neil Gaiman & Rainbow Rowell & Seanan McGuire(5 books by each): Just put an epigraphy on my tumb about how much i love them. I think they are all so extremely talented, there wasn’t a book by them i read i didn’t like. Will i read more book by them? ABSOLUTELY.

6. Harlan Coben & Richelle Mead (6 books by each): Harlan was my comeback to reading back in the day, so i still love him and one of my all time favorite books was written by him (Gone for Good). I don’t know if i’ll ever read another book by him though since they are all sort of the same after a while… as or Richelle i LOVED Vampire Academy (Christian Ozera i mean… literary boyfriend) but i’m not there anymore, i grew up and i’m not sure it is the kind of writing for me anymore.

5. Stephenie Meyer (6.5 book): Yeah, i read Twilight and i loved it back in the day… yeah i tried reading Midnight Sun (i just had to, okay?) and it was too cringey for me so … understandng now how problematic she is i don’t believe i will be reading any more books by her.

4. Patrick Ness and Stephen King (7 books by each): Patrick Ness is one of my favorite authors of all time, Stephen King is really interesting and i love some of his books (i read) a lot. Obviously i’ll be reading Patrcik’s books for a while, he is amazing – The Rest Of Us Just Live Here & More Than This? ABSOLUTE favorites. About King is more complicated, i guess i’ll read some more, starting with The Institute.

3. J. K. Rowling (10 books): I only read the Harry Potter series and the first three companions… i’m not that interested in the now HUGE universe of HP… and seeing how problematic the author is, i’m pretty sure i won’t be reading any more books by her.

2. Cassandra Clare (16 books): The shadowhunter chronicles are way too many books… i haven’t been reading for a while so i put them aside until i catch up with other readings but i love this world and the characters so i will be coming back for more. Also, i own almost every book so, why not?

And number one is…

  1. Rick Riordan (19 books): I started reading Percy Jackson when they started to come out and have been reading everything he published uo until the Trails of Apollo, mostly because after so many books i got a little tired… but i guess i’ll finish them too eventually. My favorites were the Magnus Chase and The Kane Chronicles though, maybe because those were just trilogies and they left you wanting more, not like the Pery Jackson series that felt…. neverending, though i understand this one was the last. I think he did something and became problematic? I’m not very sure, but if you know what happened with him let me know.

Old Friend Revisited #5: The Mortal Instruments

When did you start reading the books?

I think i read the first two books or one and a half back in 2012… but i wasn’t really sure if i liked it. Then ¬†in 2014 i picked them up again, reread the first one, finished the second at last and read all the others… the second time around i fell in love with the series in the first book.

Why did you start reading them?

The first time it was completely by chance, i went to a bookstore and told the girl working there i was looking for finished trilogies and she told me about them, i bought then the first three books (yeah, i tend to buy books just by chance, i don’t even check if i may like them…). Back at the timei was trying to get back on the reading train, and since i had no patience for short stories where i get attached to books and they are already over, i was looking for long series and trilogies in which i can immerse¬†myself for a longer while. So yeah, i just started reading the first book just because, i didn’t knew anything about it back then.

Did i answer the right question here?

When did you knew you love the books so much they’d become a favorite?

Mmm, the second time i started reading them, i just, there was something really on point at the time for me to love the books, i was looking for something to obsess about (…) and there were so many books, and such lovable characters (aka Magnus Bane & Isabelle Lightwood & Simon Lewis & Raphael) i just, i couldn’t put them down and i knew i was hooked for good.

How many times did you read the books?

I don’t know, because the second time around, i was so obsessed with them i read them and reread them and listened to them, those were some wild months i spend all the day all days thinking, reading, and breathing TMI..

Who is your favorite character?

I think i talk about him before¬†because he is my biggest fictional crush, Magnus Babe… i mean Magnus Bane. He is like, asdfghjkl;; …. i don’t really have words, i totally love him!

Art by Cassandra Jean

Who is your least favorite character?

Will i have to talk about this each and every time? ¬†… man, this is difficult, and please don’t hatebe cause of this but my least favorite character in The Mortal Instruments series is Jace Whatever. I just,… i can’t deal with him. It’s like having an allergy, only instead to a thing, having it to a person.

It’s Malec week!
Art by Cassandra Jean

Obviously Malec, since all i want is for MAgnus to be happy (??). I was watching a review of the tv show the other day and the girl doing it said Malec is everyone’s OTP on the show, on the books, everywhere related to TMI, and though i’m not sure of that, i’m a 1,000,000% sure they are mine. Like, i love Sizzy and Lucelyn, but it’s nothing compared to my love for Malec. Malec is everything, okay? i just can’t cope with my feelings right now.tumblr_inline_n61q9gT5Qa1qhdusl

Favorite book?

City of Glass (The Mortal Instruments, #3)City of Lost Souls (The Mortal Instruments, #5)

Since there are two different trilogies that became a series,  i can choose one of each trilogy right? RIGHT?

My favorite from the first trilogy is City of Glass, i mean i commented on it already, but the first time i read the book i read it in a loop about three or four times, because i enjoyed it so freaking much. Ad for the second trilogy, my favorite is City of Lost Souls, because Team Good and Domestic!Malec and Sizzy and everything was so good, and happy and.. sorry, i’m just rereading the book and i’m too emotional XD.

Least favorite book?

City of Fallen Angels (The Mortal Instruments, #4)¬†City of Fallen Angels, with all the dead babies and stuff, and Camille …¬†and … pffffffffff, i just, there are too many not nice things in that book¬†tumblr_inline_ndns4kUN461rk7l06

One thing you just totally love;

Magnus Bane, Alexander Lightwood. I really love the idea of a group of people that fight demons to keep humankind safe. Like, i wish i was one of the nephilim, because damn, that looks just a hell of fun.. >_<, aaaaaaaaaah, i want runes to help me go through with my daily life…

One thing you dislike;

There aren’t enough more books about these specific characters. Like, i totally love that there are more books about the shadow world, but i’m attached to these characters, i don’t want new ones, i want these and i want MAGNUS, LOTS, AND LOTS OF MAGNUS.

Would you recommend it?

Mmm, i would, even though many may say that the other trilogies on the shadow world are written better and such, i think thisis the best way to start, or maybe it’s better o read them in the order of publishing really, so you won’t get spoiled… but, you really should give this a chance if you are willing to enter the shadow world, because there’s so much in here, it’s such an amazing world to join… i think many people would enjoy these books.

Any last words about the series?

Nope, i think i just said everything i had to say about it…. I’m still wondering if i answered these questions on point though… this is too weird… Yeah, well… let’s move on!

T5W: Books I Feel Differently About [Now]

As always, topics for these entries are taken from the Top 5 Wednesday group on Goodreads . The group was created  Lainey. Now the group is under Samantha’s moderation, you can find her here.

Top 5 Wednesday: Books I Feel Differently About (Now)*

Twilight (Twilight, #1) Twilight by Stephenie Meyer.

I remember reading this book for the first time when i was about 18 and i really loved it. Then with time when i started reading other YA novels, the hype i felt about the book weakened and i sort of felt ashamed of liking it so much at the time. Then again, now that i’m more of a reader (as i always say i was a heavy Harry Potter reader for all my teenage years – i read pretty much only Harry Potter in loops from the age of 12 to 18) i read many other and great books, but my fondness for this series came back, mostly because these are such an easy read, like, if i get in a slump, i can always read them.. So yeah, now i understand that being ashamed of liking these books was mostly a waste of time, if i enjoy them, it’s just fine, it doesn’t matter what others may say about it.

The Ocean at the End of the Lane The Ocean at the End of the Lane by Neil Gaiman.

When i first read the book all i could think was about how weird it was and how much i wasn’t enjoying reading it. But, a while after finishing it, when looking back and thinking about the whole plot and the characters i started to see how amazing the book really was. Like, honestly sometimes i just start thinking about it randomly and i cannot believe i thought about dropping it. There’s something incredibly magical and amazing in Neil Gaiman’s books and actually in everything he writes. If you haven’t read any of his books yet, i highly recommend it to you.

Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets (Harry Potter, #2) Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets by J. K. Rowling.

For ages, this was my favorite Harry Potter book, like i could read it in loops or at least once a month (and it went on and on for years) i was obsessed. Now, when looking back i cannot believe my once favorite Harry Potter book was the one in which Harry fights a huge snake, like… i’m so freaking scared of snakes, how could i even read and imagine that fight? I know my reasons for this are quite.. unusual, but seriously, i cannot think about that fight without shaking these days. I still like it, it’s Harry Potter after all, but it is no longer my favorite book.

City of Bones (The Mortal Instruments, #1) City of Bones by Cassandra Clare.

The first time i read City of Bones and City of Ashes i wasn’t sure i even wanted to keep on reading the (first) trilogy. The second time i tried (mostly because of the hype on booktube) i really enjoyed it and started to obsess over the books, reading them a million times and like, not being able to think about anything else. No, after two years without reading this series i try to remember why i liked it so much, and though i really enjoy the characters (even if some are a little marys and garys) i think if i started reading them now for the first time i wouldn’t be able to actually finish the complete six books. I don’t know, i’m not even sure anymore.

Half Bad (The Half Bad Trilogy, #1) Half Bad by Sally Green.

If you told me when i was only 100 pages into this book that this trilogy would become my favorite trilogy of all time i would’ve laughed. At first, i really wasn’t enjoying much this book, i don’t know i felt something was off or something, but with time i learned to love it, to totally fall in love with it… Sure, now that i know i enjoyed reading it the begining doesn’t seem some scary or weird as it was at first, now i know whenever i read these books i’ll love them, because even if at first it didn’t seem like it, they actually changed something within me and i absolutely love them.

Top 5 Wednesday: Authors I’d Like To Meet

Well, the idea was which authors i’d like to meet if i were going to BookExpo American & BookCon sadly, since i don’t live nowhere near America i cannot afford to come to those… but! Obviously there’s a ton of Authors i’d love to meet, so here are my top 5 authors!

Maggie Stiefvater 1.) Maggie Stiefvater (The Raven Cycle, Shiver Trilogy, Scorpio Races)

A few days ago i finished reading The Raven King, and it had¬†the most wonderful ending, so i’d really love to meet her so i could thank her for such a beautiful ending to such a great series… seriously all i want is to hug her and thank her for getting my babies together.

Jennifer Niven 2.) Jennifer Niven (All The Bright Places, Holding Up The Universe)

Raise your hand if you didn’t know All The Bright Places is my favorite book ever. There you go, now you know. So, obviously, since she wrote my favorite book ever i’d love to meet her, ask for an autograph on my book and tell her that her book is everything to me.

Rick Riordan 3.) Rick Riordan (Percy Jackson Series, The Heroes of Olympus)

I haven’t seen him in the list of Book Expo and BookCon, but he is one of the authors i’d like to meet the most since i love his books so much, id love to meet the man and the myth.

Cassandra Clare 4.) Cassandra Clare (The Mortal Instruments, The Infernal Devices)

Since i’ve read almost every book she wrote i’m guessing i like her very much.. so yeah, i’ll like to meet her and tell her how much i love Magnus Bane.

J. K. Rowling 5.) J. K. Rowling (Harry Potter, duh!)

Another author that isn’t n the lists, but one i’d sell a kidney to meet. Her books are such a huge part of my childhood, all i want is to thank her for giving me such a magical experience. Harry Potter shaped my life in so many ways, i cannot describe how much i want to meet her. Anyone.. a kidney?

And ¬†those are my picks…tell me about yours! Obviously you are more than invited to share your list!

Have a great day!

T5W: Least Favorite Book in My Favorite Series

As always, topics for these entries are taken from the Top 5 Wednesday group on Goodreads . The group was created by Lainey, who you can also follow on Youtube.

Top 5 Wednesday: Least Favorite Book in My Favorite Series

Blue Lily, Lily Blue (The Raven Cycle, #3)

5.) Blue Lily, Lily Blue by Maggie Stiefvater.

This is a very difficult choice because i love these books, yet again, i love all the series that will appear in this top so…. I just didn’t enjoyed all the way through this books as i did with the previous ones, even though there’s so much about Adam and i love him .. something just didn’t feel as magical in this books as the others.

Finders Keepers (Bill Hodges Trilogy, #2)

4.) Finders Keepers by Stephen King

Okay, so i’m cheating a little here, because the last book isn’t out yet, but you have to understand how much i love Mr. Mercedes (it’s of my favorite books and my favorite thriller) and to be honest, this book wasn’t even nearly as good as Mr. Mercedes, which was a total bummer … i was so thrilled because of the previous one when i picked up this one, that i felt totally cheated when i finished it. Still, i’m looking forward for the last one because this one ended in a cliffhanger that is killing me!!

Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets (Harry Potter, #2)

3.) Harry Potter And The Chamber of Secrets by J. K. Rowling

I feel like i’m always talking about how much i don’t like this book compared to the rest of the series.. I’m pretty sure i am… Anyway, it’s weird because for a very long tme it was my favorite of them all, until one day i just couldn’t keep reading it … I guess i just burned it out, like when you watch a movie too many times until you just cannot stand it any longer. But well, it’s not as if i won’t reread it a few more times in my life.. i’ll just have to take more time between the readings.

City of Fallen Angels (The Mortal Instruments, #4)

2.) City of Fallen Angels by Cassandra Clare

So, this book felt so weird to me the first time i read it, i just wished it was over already, it had its good stuff, but something was missing, like it was not much more than a filler. I don’t know what else to say, so i’ll just leave it there.

Beautiful Darkness (Caster Chronicles, #2)

1.) Beautiful Darkness by Kami Garcia & Margaret Stohl

This book takes the first place of this list because it almost got me to stop reading this series, in this book almost nothing happens, and i know that because of it many dropped the series. Luckly for me a few months after finishing this one i missed the characters so much i decided i’ll read the third book anyway, and to my surprise it got so much better! I love this series and i think more people should give the third book a chance, because it saves the day! Anyway… Beautidul Darkness isn’t the best book you’ll ever read, but not the worst either!

What are your least favorite books from the series you love?!

Top 5 Wednesday: Books I Didn’t Finish

5.) A Game of Thrones (A Song of Ice and Fire, #1)A Game of Thrones by George R.R. Martin

I tried to read it back when i was 17 – wow, that’s a while ago, almost 9 years – and i rememeber that it had so much sexual content i couldn’t bring myself to read it. To this day i’m pretty sure i wouldn’t read a book like that, so there you go, a series i’m probably never reading. I mean, i remember liking the beginning with the wolves and all, i remember liking Jon Snow, but then i just.. no.

Afterworlds4.) Afterworlds by Scott Westerfeld

Last year when i was in London i bought this book and i tried to read it back then, but there’s something in the author’s writing that doesn’t work for me.. Still, since i bought it and i’m 1/4 into the book, i’m pretty sure i’ll try again sometime, but not for now… still in my TBR anyway.

We All Looked Up3.) We All Looked Up by Tommy Wallach

I was half way through thisbook when i realized i didn’t care at all what was about to happen to the characters, when this happened ijust put the book aside and picked up anoter one, because tat was truly what felt right… I may still get interested on the ending one day, so the book is still waiting in my TBR, but i’m not sure that day will ever come.

Throne of Glass (Throne of Glass, #1)2.) Throne of Glass by Sarah J. Mass

I started reading this book mostly becauseeveryone was recommending it, not because i really wanted to… i won’t say much about this,¬†let’s just say i have some problems with the main character which is a shame, because the story seemed pretty interesting (although some stuff felt a little too obvious), i really wanted to know who was behind the murders, but i couldn’t .. i just cannot read about Caelina, …still, i didn’t spoil myself about anything on these books because maybe one day i’ll want to read it, actually i was thinking onpicking it up again, it’s being a while, almost two years since i read half of the book, maybe now i can appreciate it more. Obviously, this books is still in my TBR.

Clockwork Princess (The Infernal Devices, #3) 1.) Clockwork Princess by Cassandra Clare

If you have ever read my blog, you must know i totally love the shadow world, and i love The Mortal Instruments (and Lady Midnight¬†tumblr_inline_n61q9gT5Qa1qhdusl)…. but there’s something about The Infernal Devices that i just cannot stand for some reason (nah, let’s be real, i didn’t like the main characters and i hate love triangles). So, because of how Clockwork Prince ended i started this book knowing i would just suffer a lot and then after about 5 chapters i put it aside and didn’t finish it… I got spoiled anyway… I hope one day i’ll finish it, after all shadowhunters and all, Lightwood and all, …SOPHIE MY BABY and all…I bought the graphic novel, to at least read that anndsay “i finished The Infernal Devices” but i still haven’t done it.

And that’s all for this top 5! What are the books you didn’t finish?

The Mortal Instruments Booktag!

Since last week Lady Midnight, the newest installment in the Shadowhunters Chronicles, was released i thought it would be fun to answer to the Mortal Instruments booktag so i can talk a little about the series that started my love for this world and maybe fangirl. Obviously, this tag will be Lady Midnight spoiler free, because i hate spoilers myself!

I tried to find the original video/post of this booktag, but couldn’t find it, so please, if you know who created it, send me the information so i can give them full credit!

1. When did you start reading the TMI series?

I think i first heard about the books back in 2012, but i read only City of Bones and half of City of Ashes, then i wasn’t sure if i liked it or not, so i waited… then when i saw the movie i was fired up by the concept and started reading the books again. Since then, i’ve been obsessed with these books and the characters and the world and aaaaaaaah! I love it.

2.What is your favourite book in the series?

City of Glass (The Mortal Instruments, #3)

City of Glass, it was such a great book, i mean, even if the story ended there, it had such an energy, i totally loved it and reread it about 3 times in a row the first time i read the book, although City of Lost Souls it’s a very close one, yes, i adore these two books too much!

City of Lost Souls (The Mortal Instruments, #5)
3.Who is you favourite male/female character?

For the 40k Giveaway!morrron requested Magnus Bane! (Tarot Card!)
Art by Cassandra Jean

I’ve said it already, but well… Magnus Bane is my favorite character from the series, and from any series really, he is my baby, my bae, my everything.tumblr_inline_ndypxlFrQk1rk7l06
4.What is your favourite rune?

I really wish this was a real thing, if i could have the sight, that could be so awesome. Also, i reall like the way the rune looks, yes, sometimes i’m that shallow.
5.If you were a downworlder what would you be?

I want to be a warlock! Although i’m pretty sure with my luck i’d end up being a Werewolf, and it’s not that i don’t like them, it’s just, their life span is pretty much the same as humans (?) and i want to have magic and live forever …
6.What is you favourite scene from the books?

I don’t know! ¬†there are so many! But i’ll say that one of my favorites is the heart to heart talk Jace and Alec have when they are in Hell (City of Heavenly Fire), where Alec says to Jace that he is devastated from kidnapping and he says some like “this is me in pieces” and all the stuff that Jace tells Alec about trusting him and them being Parabatai ….

Also, i always laugh when i read the scene when in City of Ashes they want to check if the fearless rune work and they don’t know how to scare Alec so Magnus goes like ‘Booo’, I always thought that was because Magnus thought Alec was afraid of what he represented in his life …

7.What are your thoughts on Sebastian?

I really enjoyed his character, he was a fun villian and i really liked reading about all the stuff he was doing, …. also, i felt sorry for him at the end …. and i actually liked him more than i like Jace, so…
8.Favourite quote from the books

One must always be careful of books,” said Tessa, “and what is inside them, for words have the power to change us.‚ÄĚ
‚Äē Cassandra Clare, Clockwork Angel

9.Have you read the Infernal Devices?

Okay, please don’t kill me, i totally love The Mortal Intruments, but i couldn’t connect with The Infernal Devices characters… I read the first two books and tried to read the third more than three times, but the idea of knowing how it ends and imagining all that will happen to get there, just for characters i don’t particularly like, made me drop the book unfinished… I hate love triangles and i don’t have patience for that, at least right now, so it’s still in my TBR but i’m not in a rush to read it.

Well that’s all for today’s tag! Hope you enjoyed it!

Lady Midnight by Cassandra Clare **Spoiler Free Review**

Lady Midnight (The Dark Artifices #1) Lady Midnight by Cassandra Clare

Genre: YA, Urban Fantasy.
Pages: 720
Publisher: Margaret K. McElderry Books
Rating: 4.5 stars

Summary: It’s been five years since the events of City of Heavenly Fire that brought the Shadowhunters to the brink of oblivion. Emma Carstairs is no longer a child in mourning, but a young woman bent on discovering what killed her parents and avenging her losses.

Together with her parabatai Julian Blackthorn, Emma must learn to trust her head and her heart as she investigates a demonic plot that stretches across Los Angeles, from the Sunset Strip to the enchanted sea that pounds the beaches of Santa Monica. If only her heart didn’t lead her in treacherous directions…

Making things even more complicated, Julian‚Äôs brother Mark‚ÄĒwho was captured by the faeries five years ago‚ÄĒhas been returned as a bargaining chip. The faeries are desperate to find out who is murdering their kind‚ÄĒand they need the Shadowhunters‚Äô help to do it. But time works differently in faerie, so Mark has barely aged and doesn‚Äôt recognize his family. Can he ever truly return to them? Will the faeries really allow it?

Glitz, glamours, and Shadowhunters abound in this heartrending opening to Cassandra Clare’s Dark Artifices series.

My opinion on the book:

I haven’t felt so excited with the ending of a book in a while!! Well, that was something i needed to get out of my chest fast, because i felt like my heart was about to explode.

And now, let’s talk about the book.

First of all, i wanna say that with this book you can totally see how much has Cassandra Clare grown as a writer, in this book, you can see the conversations feel less awkward than in previous books, the characters are well defined, they have depth and are not as perfect as Jace and the others.

Think about the fact that there are a lot of characters, you can see the differences between them all, each one is unique and interesting.

To be honest, at the beginning all i could think about was ¬†“Bring my original babies back” but as the story developed i found myself more attached to all these new characters, and rather sooner than later i fell for all of them. And i mean it, i love them all.

Yes, i had some problems with it, especially the way the characters referred to Jace and Clary and sometimes the others as ¬†if they were superstars, which i guess they are but, i don’t know … it felt too weird, even though i really missed them.

I loved the major plot of the book, and all the little storylines and some bigger ones, i think they  were very well handled. The characters reacted very truthfully and on character.

I’m leaving the book with a lot of new OTPs and a lot of feelings although i’m a little scared because some of them, if in The Mortal¬†Instruments the ships were pretty clear from the beginning, i gotta say that this time i have no freaking idea of what’s gonna happen. Which in a way is very refreshing but at the same time it stressess me a lot.

Yes, the book stressed me quite a lot, to be honest. There were two, three days i couldn’t bring myself to read it because i didn’t know what would happen, and i needed to know so badly ( i know it sounds weird, i’ll talk about it other time, soon).

Also, there’s the fact that now i have to wait a lot for the next book, i have no idea when it is expected…Lord, Have Mercy.

Before i forget, i saw some people asking if it’s possible to start reading about the Shadowhunters Chronicles from this book like it’s possible with the infernal devices, Cassandra Clare that it is, but to be honest, in my opinion, that’s not true. I mean, there’s so much world-building and stories behind it all already, this installment feels like something you should only read if you already read City of Heavenly Fire.

Well, i think that’s all i wanted to say in this spoiler free review (or at least, i hope i didn’t spoil anything), maybe later on the week i’ll talk about it in a spoilery¬†post…. i’m not sure yet… ¬†i have so much to say but i’m not quite sure i can put it on words…

Anyway, this is a great and enjoyable book for all the shadowwolrd fans! we waited so much and it was totally worth it! without doubt this is going to be one of my favorite books of the year and of the shadowhunter chronicles!

That’s all for now, enjoy your reading too ‚ô•

T5W: Books I Was Spoiled For

As always, topics for these entries are taken from the Top 5 Wednesday group on Goodreads . The group was created by Lainey, who you can also follow on Youtube.

T5W: Books I Was Spoiled For (aka; the most annoying thing ever!!!)

5.) Gone GirlGone Girl by Gillian Flynn

I remember hearing about this ¬†book for the first time when i got spoiled for it. I mean…this book and me never got a chance in hell.¬†I blame myself though i spend too much time in tumblr., which means you get spoiled about everything… i’m pretty sure one day they’ll spoil me what’s waiting for us after we die, i just need to be around enough time…

Haven’t read it, not sure if it’s worth it now…

Looking for Alaska 4.) Looking For Alaska by John Green

Oh my god, i was so angry when i got this book spoiled, i was looking for a summary on the book before picking it up and i found the one web where they compared it to another book i read, making it a huge spoiler. I’m trying to wait a little, i haven’t read it yet… maybe one day the spoiler won’t bother me and i will read it.

Winter (The Lunar Chronicles, #4)3.) Winter by Marissa Meyer

So, i haven’t even started this series, but someone already cared for me to know how it all ends. I mean…really? was it necessary? I’m still convinced i’ll read this series anyway, because it seems so beautiful and it has such great reviews, i just need to find the right time and just marathon all the five/six books there are.

All the Bright Places2.) All The Bright Places by Jennifer Niven

This is theonly one on the list i read after being spoiled… More like, i read it because of the spoiler. At the time i heard about this book i felt very disappointed by knowing it, but after a while, i started looking for this kind of book so it fitted me well. A wonderful book by the way, if you hadn’t read it yet… what are you waiting for?!

Clockwork Princess (The Infernal Devices, #3)1.) Clockwork Princess by Cassandra Clare

This one has the most annoying spoiler in the history of books, if you don’t read the books as they were published, even though the books are from two different series, you will eventually get spoiled for the other one.. I mean, i started with The Mortal Instruments, and i didn’t want to read The Infernal Devices before i finished the first one, but by the time i did finished i spoiled TID to myself in such an annoying way i didn’t even read the last book, i don’t care people say the epilogue is the best thing ever, i just don’t.

Well, those are the books i got spoiled for, 4 out of the 5 i haven’t read, as i said before because knowing so much felt wrong, although i may pick up some of them when time passes and my anger passes… who knows?

What are the books you were spoiled for?!
