Pride Flag BookTag! (Original Tag)

Hey there! Happy PRIDE month everyone!

Today i present you with my first ever original book tag!

The idea is very simple you get tagged, you answer the questions, you tag whomever you want and so it goes on! Please don’t forget to give credit and tag me so i can see your answers!

Simon vs. the Homo Sapiens Agenda (Simonverse, #1)
A character you’d like to write to and ask for advice and comfort

I think, as we’ve seen in the book and the tv show, I’d love to get some advice and love from Simon Spier himself. I find him as one of the most relatable characters I’ve read in a long while. He is by far the character I’d love the most to talk to. I think Becky did a great job with his character and the book itself. I’ll really love to be pen pals with him like he has such a great character and he is such a good friend. Sorry, I just need Simon in my life like, right now.

Felix Ever After
A book with a great trans representation

I haven’t read many books with trans characters yet, but one of my favorite to this day is Cemetery Boys. I’m not saying other books have amazing trans representation, i mean, there are some incredible books, but i feel the way Yadriel is written and driven by the need of showing his family he is like any other brujo moved me a lot. Sometimes we feel like we need to prove ourselves to others, even though it shouldn’t be like that and that is something i took with me while reading that book.

More Happy Than Not
A book that reminds you of yourself or other loved ones

I don’t know why but The Miseducation of Cameron Post is one the books I feel the most related to. Not because I was in that kind of camp, but I did spend a lot of time in boarding schools and different homes for mentally ill people where a lot of the people were from the community and there were a lot of different reactions to the issue. I’ve seen people who would hurt themselves feeling bad for being gay or lesbian or bisexual. I’ve seen a lot of things in my days as a student, a lot of people in the closet, and how others saw us because we were from the LGBTQ+ community.

Heartstopper: Volume One (Heartstopper, #1)
Favorite graphic novel with LGBTQ+ characters

I think at the moment my favorite graphic novels are the Heartstopper ones. Alice does a great job representing very different aspects of the community, and also, Charlie and Nick are so sweet together, i have a difficult time expecting for new content of those two. Like, a very hard time.

The Bane Chronicles
A favorite side character part of the LGBTQ+ community

I guess, if i need to choose a side character from the LGBTQ+ community the most obvious asnwer would be Magnus Bane, so i’ll shake it up a little and choose, i can’t believe i’m gonna say this about a Herondale, Kit. I think he counts as a side character in The Dark Artifices and although i didn’t read the whole trilogy (sorry for my sins) i got the vibe there was something going between him and Ty, so it positions him somewhere in the LGBTQ+ community, i don’t know if he is gay or bi or something else, but yeah, he is one of my favorite characters. Yeah, i don’t usually like Herondales, but he is the exception.

Carry On (Simon Snow, #1)
A ship you”ve read way too much fanfiction about

I have two, i’ve read way too much fanfiction about Simon and Bram because OTP forever and also, i’ve read a lot of fanfiction about Ronan and Adam because OTP forever. I can’t choose just one of those ships, they are my very precious and i really love them both, so i won’t be counting how many fanfics i read of each ship, i’ll just say i really enjoy reading about both of them.

Vengeful (Villains, #2)
A favorite main character part of the LGBTQ+ community

Since i’ve already talked too much about Simon Spier i’ll choose a different character for this question…

I’m choosing Victor Vale – Victor is one of my favorite character of all time, he is just… too much to describe really, and he happens to be Asexual (please, if you don’t believe asexuals are part of the community respond to it nicely). Victor is without a doubt one of the most interesting characters i’ve ever read about and i’m so happy i got to read about him. Thnak you V.E. Schwab for such an amazing character!

Since i’m the first one doing the tag (duh) i’m tagging whomever wants to do it! Just please tag me back so i can read your answers!

Christmas Cookie BookTag

[I know Christasmwas yesterday, but i really wanted to do this tag! So let’s pretend it’s still christmas!!!]

Saturday is here which means it’s time for another booktag! This one was created by Adrienne @Ordinary Reader, she was inactive for a while but she is now back! Check her out!

And now, let’s do the tag!!!

Chocolate Chip: a classic book that you love or really enjoyed

Wuthering Heights

This is one of my favorite classics. I still remember the first time i read it, i did it because my mom kept talking about it all my life and i was very curious. The name in Spanish was such a powerful name (it’s not the same feeling in Englsh) that it made me want to read it. And since then i didn’t stop loving it.

Thin Mints: a fandom you really want to join or a hyped book you want to read

Throne of Glass (Throne of Glass, #1)

I don’t know how it ended and whether people loved the endng of this series, but for a very long time i heard a lot of people praising the book and the author, i got very curious about it. I tried reading t a few years ago (about 6 years ago) but i couldn’t get into it. But now that i’m older i’ll be trying again. Next year will be the year i’ll be rereading the first book at least.

Shortbread: an author you can’t get enough of

Maggie Stiefvater – Young Adult Author

Maggie Stievfater is one of my favorite people, not only she is a great writer, she seems such a fun person, i follow her on twitter, instagram and tumblr and i really enjoy her. I hope to read more books by her in the future because she writes amazingly.

Samoas/Caramel DeLites: An emotional rollercoaster

History Is All You Left Me

This book is a hel of feelings. I don’t know how to explain it, but this is thebooks that made me feel the most feelings in all my time as a reader. I cried so much, i cried and still cry when i remember it. Just by thinking about it sometimes i lose my breath. I recommend it because it Adam Silvera is and amazing author and he gives so many feelings in this book… I feel like i’m just saying the same over and over, but this book made me so sad and so happy at he same time i just LOVE it.

Oreos: a book whose cover was better than the story (or vice versa)

Vampire Academy (Vampire Academy, #1)

This book is so much better than the cover. I mean, i will never understand who thought the covers of these books would be appealing to anyone. Still, the books are pretty good and i would recommend them to anyone still loving vampires and such.

Tagalongs/Peanut Butter Patties: a book that wasn’t what you expected

Every Heart a Doorway (Wayward Children, #1)

I’ll admit when i picked up this book i was just looking for a short book to finish quickly. But i feel in love with the idea, the story, the characters. Now i love it s much that i have a difficult time waiting for the next ne to come out. I wait for January every year for these books. They are wonderful.

Snickerdoodles: a book you may never stop rereading/loving

articles/cover-examples-daddy-long-legs in 2020 | Daddy long, My daddy long legs, Daddy

I’ll never get tired of Daddy Long Legs. This is such a beautiful book, i’ve been reading it since i was 9 aprox. and i just can’t never get enough of it. I read it every single year at least once.

Soft Sugar Cookies: a book just as good as it sounds

Cinder (The Lunar Chronicles, #1)

This is an amazing series. I loved it from the very beginning, the moment i got this book in my hands i adore it. I love the three books i read (out of four) and i know i still haven’t finished the series, but that’s because the book it’s huge and i’m a bit lazy but i hope next year i’ll be able to finish them. Wish me luck!

And that’s all for this booktag! I hope you had fun with it!

As always i’m tagging anyone wanting to do it! And if you do please tag me so i can see your answers!

The Festive Christmas BookTag

Saturday is here again and since it’s December it means… BOOKTAG DAY! As always i hope you have as much fun reading and answering it as i did doing so myself!

I found this tag at GirlReading’s youtube channel sadly she hasn’t been uploading for the last two years, but i think this booktag deserves a place and maybe we can revive it!

1) A fictional family you would like to spend christmas dinner with?

I think the Kinomotos are the way to go. They are such a lovely family and i’m sure they’ll be having a few more visitors this time of the year, some are all year long at their house.

Navidad! e.e'' | Cardcaptor sakura, Anime christmas, Cardcaptor

2) A bookish item you would like to receive as a gift?

I love canvas bags and i’d love me some with quotes from books. I used to have one with a quote from Game of Thornes but i always felt a cheater with it becuase i don’t like the books (or the tv show). I’d love one with the little prince in it.

Little Prince Series Printing Canvas Tote Bag Eco Bag Reusable Shopping Bag Recycled Fashion Handbag Daily Use| | - AliExpress

3) A fictional character you think would make a perfect christmas elf?

I’m trying to think of someone who’d be annoyed by this, and i think maybe Victor Vale (Vicious) or Ronan Lynch (The Raven Cycle) may be the perfect for the job. Also Adam Parrish (The Raven Cycle) because everything would be perfect on him.

4) Match a book to it’s perfect christmas song.

All I want for christmas (aka as the one christmas song i love) would be perfect for two teens in love who only wanted to find each other… Dash & Lily's Book of Dares (9780375859557): Rachel Cohn, David Levithan: Books

5) Bah Humbug. A book or fictional character you’ve been disappointed in and should be put on the naughty list?

I don’t remember any character I’ve been that disappointed on, but if i may put myself out there, i could think of a few authors…

6) A book or a fictional character you think deserves more love and appreciation and deserve to be put on the nice list?

Nathan Bryn (Half life) deserves tons of love but i don’t see many people even talking about his trilogy so, yes, I want people to know he is the nicest of them all.

Reseña: El lado oscuro (Una vida oculta #1) de Sally Green

7) Red, Gold and Green. A book cover that has a wonderfully christmasy feel to it.

35 Best Christmas Books of All Time

I hadn’t read this book but it is all i want in a christmasy cover for obvious reasons…. I adore it so much, now i have the need of buying the book.

8) A book or series you love so much, you want everyone to find under their christmas tree this year so they can read it and love it too? The Little Prince (8580001044842): Antoine de Saint-Exupéry, Richard Howard: Books

I recently reread it for the firs time and it hit me in a way it didn’t the first time. I absolutely adored it this time and i wish everyone would read it and enjoy it as much as i did.

I’m tagging anyone wanting to do this booktag because it shouldn’t die!

If you do it please tag me back so i can see your answers!

Winter Wonderland BookTag

It’s Saturday which means it’s booktag time! This time i’ll be revisiting an old tag i did back in 2015. You could find the original tag [HERE] but it became a private video and now we can’t see it anymore 😦 . Anyway, if you know who the creator of this booktag was, please leave their name and where to find them in the comments down below!

1. What book is so happy and sweet that it warms your heart?

The first time i answered this tag i said Simon Vs. The Homo Sapiens Agenda and i still stand by this choice, but new year new recommendation, so i’ll pick a different one ;

Red, White & Royal Blue

It’s sweet and warm and full of charm. I read it this year and i enjoyed it very much.

2. What is your favorite book with a white cover?

The Hate U Give (The Hate U Give, #1)

I know there are different covers to this book, but this is the one i own, and if i need to choose a book i’ll choose the most powerful i read to this day having a white cover because this is an EXCELLENT book and i think everyone should read it.

3. You’re sitting in a nice comfy chair, wearing a onesie, with a lovely warm hot chocolate but what MONSTER read are you reading?

I haven’t read this book yet, but as every other book by Murakami i Own it. Murakami is one of my favorite authors, but the edition i own of this book has almost 1000 pages, and i’m scared of big books because i fear i won’t read anything for months because i’m trying to fnish this immense book. I have some other huge books i want to read (most of them by Stephen King). I’m just scared of big books right now.

4. It started snowing so you decided to have a snowball fight! What fictional character would you love to have the snowball fight with?

Last time i chose The Weasley Twins, but this time around i think i’d choose someone from the Shadowhunters universe, maybe Magnus Bane or Simon Lewis (a recent favorite)

City of Bones (The Mortal Instruments, #1)

5. Sadly, your fire is beginning to go out. So what book would you tear the last few chapters out to throw into the fire?

Half Lost (The Half Bad Trilogy, #3)

Oh yes, can we burn the last few chapters of this book and pretend they never happened? I always say it, because i truly mean it… this book owns my heart so very much, but it broke it in such little pieces i cannot restore it. So yeah, this is one of my favorite books and i think it has the perfect ending but at the same time i wish it never happened.

6. What book is so close to your heart that you would gift it to someone this Christmas who hasn’t read it but wants to get into reading?

My mom doesn’t read fiction (at all) she just reads essays and self help books, but if i needed to give her one book so she would understand me a little more i’d give her

It might be a little “old”, but it will never not be true. This book understands me perfectly. In every way possible and i totally love it because of it so i would give it to my mom so she understands what it means to be a Fangirl for me.

I tag everyone who wants todo this tag because tags are for having fun!!

If you want you can leave your posts down below so i can see your answers too!

The Beauty and the Beast Book Tag

Not sure you guys remember, but i like to answer some tag on Saturdays. So, a week or two ago i was tagged by Savannah@TheBookProphet to do The Beauty And The Beast Tag and though i never watched the movie 09  … it is a really cool and awesome tag!

Now, let’s begin!

The Beauty and the Beast Book Tag

Once Upon a Time, there was a Tale as Old as Time…

The creator of the tag is Bookfandom100 whom i just discovered through the tag but i’m already a fan of hers. Go check her blog out!!

And now we can start;

Rules :

1)Tag at least four people

2)Thank the creator

3)Make sure you answer honestly

Belle: Someone who is willing to sacrifice themselves for someone they love?

That is my baby Gabriel Boutin from the Half Life trilogy (my favorite trilogy ever), i think he honestly was willing to give anything for Nathan and please don’t get me started on the matter because it could get very ugly very quickly.

Beast: A good character development?

I really can’t think of anyone.. like, i’m currently looking on my goodreads ‘read’ list and all i can see is ‘in these books the characters stay the same’, ‘these characters don’t change’, etc. I think maybe… Nico Di’Angelo? from the Percy Jackson, The Heroes of Olympus and The Trails of Apollo’s series. He changed a lot, not only because he grew up but because he found a place to feel a part of (finally). Okay, i’ll go with Nico.

Lumiere: A character that gives good relationship advice?

why, these questions are getting really difficult to answer.. i guess the one advice i loved the most was the one Ari’s (from Aristotle&Dante discover the secrets of the universe) father gave Ari, i know it’s not like he’ll go giving advice everywhere, but it was the best one for sure.

Cogsworth: A loyal character (a person you can trust)?

Hermione Granger, always by Harry’s side. At first, i thought about Ron&Hermione but then i remembered the times Ron stopped talking to Harry or left him, so i figured hewas out of the equation.

Mrs. Potts: A mothering character (a character that you would want as a mom)?

Forever and Always Mrs. Weasley from the Harry Potter series, like honestly, she is my second and adoptive mother.

Gaston: A character you hate that everybody else loves?

Okay, i hope people don’t misunderstand me or hate me for this … i don’t particularly like Percy Jackson (as a character), no, i don’t hate him but i don’t like him that much either… it’s more like an i can stand you and that’s all sort of relationship.

The Enchantress: A person who put a curse on someone?

All i can think about is the people from Storybrook. Meaning, Regina cursed everyone in the enchanted forest.. or maybe Voldie, he did put a lot of curses on a lot of people… right?

I Tag…

I’m not sure if you were tagged or not … in any case, you are welcomed to answer to the tag if you’ll like 🙂

To everyone else, if you’ll like to do the tag, please send me a link afterward so i can read your answers!

Have a bright day 😉

Dem Books Tag!

Once again,  it’s tag time! Now, for this tag is was *tagged* by Maddie  @ofreadingandrandomthings. To you Maddie, thank you so much for tagging me! This is going to be a lot of fun :D.

The rules are:

  1. Thank the person who nominated you
  2. Answer the Tag
  3. Nominate 5-10 bloggers

Let’s begin!

Dem Memories:

The Secret GardenThe First Book You Remember Reading

The first book i remember reading, and by it i mean the fact that i still remember the plot
of it, even though it’s being a while since i read it is; The Secret Garden. I’m sure there were many others before i read this one, but even though i know there were many, i just cannot remember which were they… I have a very selective memory, so, i guess i’m just remembering the first book i cried and loved as much as i did.

Dem Feels:

A Book That Gave You Major Feels

All the Bright Places

I feel like i Say it a lot, but the one book that gave me the major feels, or more like MAJOR FEELS is All The Bright Places by Jennifer Niven. This book means so much to me. I mean, i don’t think i can put my love for it into words, but yes, this is the book that just thinking of i start to cry, so… yes, i read it on April (or May) last year and i haven’t since, but i still remember it very clearly and cry when remembering some of the stuff that happen in the book. Oh my kokoro.

Dem Retellings:

A Book That Is An Awesome Retelling

Cinder (The Lunar Chronicles, #1)

Now, i’m not a huge fan of retellings, but this book really made it for me, like honestly when i read it i loved it so frigging much. Since, i have had some trouble getting through Scarlet but i’ll make it soon enough and then i’ll be able to enjoy all this series!

Dem Guilt:

A Book That Is Guilty Of Being On To Be Read Shelf For A Long Time

Dem Love ♥:

A Book With An Epic Romance

My Name is Memory

This is for me, one of the most beautiful love stories i read, and because of how it makes me feel whenever i think about it, this is an Epic Romance … sure, it may not really be one, but i don’t enjoy romance itself, so for me to like the main characters’ story so much, it’s what makes it such an epic one.

Dem Boys:

A Book With Your Book Boyfriend

Daddy-Long-Legs (Daddy-Long-Legs, #1)

So, i’ve been in love with Jervis Pendleton since the first time i read this book, and i read it a million times, and i’ll read it a million more and i know i said i would want him as my grandfather a while ago on my T5W: They Say You Can’t Choose Family But…, but if i could have him for myself, it would be even better, even though i love his story and how it ended, perfectly… if not, then i’ll have me a Charles Bingley and everyone can be happy again.

Dem Hype:

An Over-Hyped Book

Dem Nominees:

12I don’t know who has been tagged already, so i’ll leave it open to whoever wants to do the tag. This way  i won’t be bothering people who already did it or were tagged and i don’t know…

01Bullet dodged.

The Bohemian Rhapsody Tag

it’s Saturday and it’s Tag Time! Yaaaaaaaaay! I love these tags, don’t you? So today i’m doing a really cool one, the Bohemian Rhapsody Tag, based on the song by the great band that was/is/will forever be QUEEN.

As usual, i would want to give credit to the creator of the tag, but i didn’t have the time to research for them, so please, if you know who created it, please let me know so i can give them full credit for it!!

The Bohemian Rhapsody Tag

1.) Mama, just killed a man – A fictional character’s death that really upset you

Okay, so i hope this isn’t coming as a shock to anyone here … but in case you haven’t read Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix, skip ahead to the next question.

The character’s death that upset me the most, each and every single time i read the book or think of it is Sirius’s death. Like, the man escaped, sure… but he was never really free. It’s so sad, that the moment he might be able to show the world he wasn’t Voldemort’s follower never came. That the only time he went out of the house he died… it’s… it was the worst.

Okay, there’s a death more upsetting than this one, i just… i don’t talk about it.

2.) Carry on, carry on – A book that was hard to keep reading but worth it in the end

1984 We had a difficult start, i thought i would never be through with it but at some point, the book became incredibly interesting and i couldn’t put it down, like seriously i’m so happy i didn’t give up on it, because now is one of my favorite books of all time.

3.) Sends shivers down my spine – A book with a beautiful spine/cover
The new covers of The Mortal Instruments and The Infernal Devices are breathtaking and so are the freaking amazing spines they have, like seriously, i’ve been putting aside money for a while now so i can buy them.

4.) Goodbye, everybody; I’ve got to go – A book you couldn’t finish

I feel like i’ll be bashed because of it, but i never finished reading  The Throne Of Glass, i tried, more than once or twice, it just… the book just isn’t for me.

5.) Thunderbolt and lightning; very, very frightening – A book you found very, very frightening

House of Leaves House of Leaves is one of those books that everyone who talks about it says it’s really a creepy reading and scary, so obviously i really want to read it, because i love being scared so much (is it a weird think to enjoy?)… anyway, i still, everytime i open the book i just start thinking about how i won’t be able to read it at night, and what if it gives me nightmares and such and then i close it and say i’ll read it another time.

6.) Bismillah, no!/We will not let you go – A book/series you wish there was more of

So, it already has six books but, i really want to read more about the characters from The Mortal Instruments, like, i really enjoy the fact that there are other installments with different characters, but i really miss the original gang… to say i even miss Jace, and i don’t even like him… okay, the one i miss the most is Magnus, because he is everywhere but not enough… anyway, i want more shadowhunters’ chronicles but around the New York Institute.

7.) Mamma mia, mamma mia – A book/series which should be made into a musical

Mmmm… this is really difficult, i wish every single one of them was a musical, to be completely honest… but if i had to choose just the one i’ll say Half Bad.. i have many ideas for the songs in the musical itself, i’ve been writing that stuff for more than six months now… that could be really awesome.tumblr_inline_msh194QAX31qz4rgp

8.) The head banging bit – A book that made you facepalm

The first two books (the only ones i read) of the Lux series… i cannot exactly explain why, but i felt like facepalming myself all the time, that’s why i haven’t finished the series yet.

9.) Oh baby, can’t do this to me, baby – A moment from a book when it felt like the author was being mean to you

I don’t know like sometimes i feel betrayed, but at the same time i know it was the right thing to do, so i don’t have any complainings about the authors… or at least i can’t recall any right now.

10.) Nothing really matters – which character(s) did you not care about?

I’m always saying this… people might think i’m insane by now but…. i don’t like the Herondales, yep, i said it, once again. Okay, so that’s not completely true, there’s this lost Herondale that i think i might like, but Jace, James, and Will? No, thank you. Honestly, i just cannot see what people see in them so much….. if you can explain it to me, i’ll be forever grateful. Please don’t hate me though.tumblr_inline_ndypyvbFjw1rk7l06

And that’s it… since i wasn’t tagged myself XD, i’ll just leave this to whomever may want to answer to the tag! it was a really fun one!!!

The Readers Confession Tag

Now that i’m back, it’s time for a booktag! As always i’ve been trying to find the original video/post for this one, but i came up empty… u_u… If you know who the creator of the tag is please let me know so i can give them full credit!

And now, let’s do this!

1. Have you ever damaged your own book?

Sadly enough.. yes, i have this bad habit of putting my books next to my sodas, so many times they end up being all wet and colored :(, i might also happen with Coffee.. maybe my books are just thirsty, next time i’ll ask them.

Funny story, when i traveled to England last year i took with me a book i wanted David Levithan to sign, and i put it in my suitcase where a shampoo exploded and ruined the book horribly. Still, i brought it and he signed it anyway.

2. Have you ever damaged a borrowed book?

No, that’s a no-no-no-NO. Books i borrow i keep very safe, mostly because ei wouldn’t be able to look a person in the eye and tell them i ruined their book. That would be a horrible feeling i don’t wanna  feel, so books that aren’t mine i keep really safe away from everything that may damage them.

3. How long does it take you to read a book?

Depends, there are books i can read in a day and some may take me a week or even two, … it really depends on how much i am liking the story, the characters, etc. Although, there’s a chance books i really like may take a while to finish because I DON’T WANT THEM TO BE OVER. And i’m writing this as procrastination of reading Harry Potter and the Cursed Child XD.

4. Books that you haven’t finished?

Lots, i mean, i try to read them, some i drop after a few pages, some i give a little more of an opportunity before i finally drop them, as reference – if i didn’t like anything by page 150, i’m not giving it more time unless i’m less than a 100 pages of finishing it.  And even if i dropped the book i may come back and try to read it again after a while.

5. Hyped/popular books that you don’t like?

E___5382ZHJBPWFG The Throne of Glass. I said it a bunch of times already, i just. i cannot read those books… Please don’t hate me.

6. Is there a book that you wouldn’t tell anyone you were reading?

At some point i stopped telling my sister i’m reading Star Wars related books because she always gives me the look, she judges me so badly, i just hide my books from her, and my mom (but that’s because she doesn’t want me to spend my money on them)

7. How many books do you own?

A Lot, i really don’t know. Like, i buy a ton of books each month – physical and e-books and audiobooks, so i really have no idea how many books i own currently, i have no place for them, that’s a thing. Most of my books are at my parents’ basement.

8. Are you a fast reader or a slow reader?

I’m a medium slow. But i dedicate to reading much time, like, i’ll spend 5 to 8 hours if i can a day to reading. Weekends are a blessing, long trips and such…

9. Do you like to buddy read?

I never did it! But i really really want to buddy read! Sadly i don’t speak to many people and i don’t know how to approach and ask them to buddy read. If someone is reading this and wants to do it just tell me, i’m here and i’m ready for it!

10. Do you read better in your head or out loud?

I read better in my head, but i’m practicing out loud, reading to my dog… and if you are asking yourself if he even cares, i’m not sure but h doesn’t leave when i’m reading to him, so i’ll take it as a win.

11. If you were only allowed to own one book, what would it be and why?

I’ll have an omnibus edition of the Harry Potter series … yes, i said that. If i can’t then i’ll have Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix because it’s the longest one, so i’ll read it fewer times (it would take me longer to finish it).

As no one really tagged me … (yes, i do these all by myself) i’ll tag whomever wants to do it!

Have a great day!

‘Til Next Time 😉

Ruler Of Books Tag

Hey everybody! As you may or may not know it’s time for another Tag Saturday!

This time i found the tag while lurking on Youtube (as i always do). The Tag was originally created by Ariel Bissett, if you don’t know her, check her out she is amazing!

And now, let’s start with the tag for today

Ruler Of Books Tag

If you were the Ruler of Books…

1. What book would you make everyone read?

The Harry Potter series without doubt. Since i was little i’ve found only a few people that read the books, even if it sound weird (as i always say, i don’t have many readers in my surroundings) and i’d love to have a lot of people to talk about these amazing books. Think about you, you go down the streets and every few steps you hear references to Harry Potter, Harry Potter everywhere. It would be like it was christmas everyday tumblr_inline_n61q9gT5Qa1qhdusl.

2. What would you abolish in book construction?

Oh, that’s an easy one.. i’d abolish books with really small letters. I hate it so much, it hurts my eyes to try and read them.. then many times i cannot buy a book i really want because of itand i hate hate HATE it.

3. What author would you commission to write any book?

Patrick Ness. He writes so many different kinds of books and all of them are amazing.. so far there wasn’t one book by him i read that i didn’t love to pieces, like seriously, all his books are almost instantly a favorite.

4. What book would you demote to make room for new books?

Okay… so, here i’m going to talk about a very famous book that i truly don’t understand why people love so much, like honestly i had to read it for school and i felt like ripping my eyes off just so i could stop reading it. I’m talking about Don Quixote.

I don’t mean to offend anyone with my opinion, i just have to say it(?).

I understand the book changed so many things in literature at the time it was written and all, but honestly, it bored me a lot. Like, why do you have to push that book down the throats of young students that are not interested on it and that may get scared by it and never want to read a book again.

5. What cover artist would you commission to make a mural?

Adam S. Doyle, he is the artist behind The Raven Cycle covers and his are is absolutely breathtaking. I mean, look at these;

It’s beautiful! Sometimes i just pick up one of The Raven Cycle books and stare at the cover for a while because i love them so freaking much! Sadly, after checking in the book he wasn’t credit for his work..

6. What character’s face would you put on a coin?

I would put Albus Dumbledore in every coin and under his face will be the quote “Nitwit! Blubber! Oddment! Tweak!” just so everyone always remember the genius he was.

7. What book would you award the ‘Ruler of Books’ 2016 prize to?

Half Lost (The Half Bad Trilogy, #3)
My King Of Kings 2016

Half Lost is so far my favorite book of the year. For me it was so intense to read it, i cried so much and sometimes i still do,  i’m not over it. Without doubt this is one of my favorite books of all time and one of the best endings i’ve read. Oh, the tears were everywhere. I want to marry this book.

Haha! That’s it for this tag! I hope you like it and feel free to do it if you want, i honestly really enjoyed answering it :3

‘Til Next Time 😉

Totally Should’ve Book Tag

It’s Saturday of booktag again! (yes, that’s a thing :p), this time i’m bringing you a tag i saw at  Giovanna’s blog (@_giovannard)… she tagged everyone who wanted to do the tag, and i liked it soo much, here i am.

So now let’s do this thing!

Totally Should’ve Book Tag

Totally Should’ve Gotten A Sequel:My Name is Memory

Okay, so this one is a sore spot for me… last year i read one of the most wonderful books i’ve read in my life, i totally loved the writing, the story and feelings, everything.. only the ending was completely WTF, and because of that many people didn’t like the book..
anyway, i can understand why the were angry, My Name Is Memory didn’t end, it finished, but that wasn’t an ending and i think that’s the book i know that should get a sequel ASAP.

Totally Should’ve Had A Spin-Off Series:

Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone (Harry Potter, #1) I love Harry Potter to pieces, but since the story is one seen from Harry’s point of view, we never get to see anything that he isn’t seen (with very few exceptions) which always felt sort of lacking for me, especially in the last book because so much happened at Hogwarts that year, and we didn”t get to see any of it… so i would want a spin off about Dumbledore’s Army on that seventh year… is that even a spin off? i really don’t know…but thaat book should totally happen, thank god for fanfiction.

Totally Should’ve Ended Differently:The Death Cure (Maze Runner, #3)

Do you have to remind me how much a bad ending can ruin a trilogy? Okay, so let’s talk about The Maze Runner for a second. I love the trilogy, like a lot. Minho is one of my favorite characters ever, everything was fine with the world and then that ending…

Why would you come to that? ah?! it’s so frustrating, i wish i could rewrite that ending, or that book as a whole really.

Half Bad (The Half Bad Trilogy, #1)Totally Should’ve Had A Film Franchise:

I feel like saying Half Bad, because it’s such a good trilogy and it could be so awesome to watch it on the big screen, oh man, what i wouldn’t give for it to actually happe n, i love that trilogy so freaking much, i don’t know how that’s even possible. But yeah, i’ll give anything to have an actually casted Gabriel and Nathan too :3

Totally Should’ve Had A T.V. Show:The Raven Boys (The Raven Cycle, #1)

Oh…. i think the series i want the most to see as a tv show is The Raven Cycle… like
seriously it could be gold, since it has such a rich world and as Maggie aid before she hadn’t talk about everything in it.. it could be a nice addition to all the things in the book, and i need it like air… someone help me i can’t.

Totally Should’ve Had One Point of View:

Mmmm… mmmmmmmmmmmmm… this is a difficult one, i mean.. i don’t think i’ve read yet a book that i didn’t enjoy having more than one point of view, mostly because that way you miss so much that happens in the story, so sorry.. i don’t have a book for this question.

Totally Should’ve Had A Cover Change:

The Time Torch So, i love London and i totally love the Big Ben but ‘The Time Torch’ needs a new cover for like, yesterday. It may make the book more appealing, because look at that light there, are you kidding me? i thought it was a children’s book.

Totally Should’ve Stopped Reading:

The Extraordinary Journey of the Fakir who got Trapped in an Ikea Wardrobe This book, … okay, so at the time i started reading it, August, i dropped it  because i was getting bored but then back in December i told mysself “Clems, you dropped too many books this year and ths one is so little, give it another try” … i did give it a try and even finished it, but the ending was so freaking annoyng for me i regret giving it the second chance… i would throw it away, one does not just throw books.

Totally Should’ve Kept The Covers:

The Sword of Summer (Magnus Chase and the Gods of Asgard, #1) Okay, so here’s the thing with Rick Riordan’s The Sword of Summer (Magnus Chase and the Gods of Asgard #1)Books…
the US cover is always prettier than the UK one, and it annoys me because where i live they bring the UK version and i don’t want that one i want to own the pretty version. Anyway why can’t they just keep the original cover for the book as many other countries do?   If i’m wrong and it isn’t the UK version, thaaat cover it’s still not as great as the one Uncle Rick presented in his blog last year, so no… don’t. Stop creating different covers.

Totally Shouldn’t Have Pre-Judged:

The Knife of Never Letting Go (Chaos Walking, #1) The first time i read what this book was about i just thought i’ll never get to read it, it just wasn’t for me. Then because so many people was taling about this trilogy i decided to try it and wasn’t catch up by it.. only the second time after reading A Monster Calls and knowing he author’s type of writing i sumerged myself completely in the book and enjoyed it amazingly.. yes, it took me almost two years to pick it up the first time and then another eleven months, but it was totally worth it because the book it’s amazing..

I’m also tagging anyone who wants to do the tag! Just go ahead and have a good time answering the question beautiful people ❤

‘Til next Time 😉
