Come Tumbling Down (Wayward Children, #5)

Genre: YA, Fantasy
Pages: 187
Rating: 3.95 stars

Summary: The fifth installment in Seanan McGuire’s award-winning, bestselling Wayward Children series, Come Tumbling Down picks up the threads left dangling by Every Heart a Doorway and Down Among the Sticks and Bones

When Jack left Eleanor West’s School for Wayward Children she was carrying the body of her deliciously deranged sister–whom she had recently murdered in a fit of righteous justice–back to their home on the Moors.

But death in their adopted world isn’t always as permanent as it is here, and when Jack is herself carried back into the school, it becomes clear that something has happened to her. Something terrible. Something of which only the maddest of scientists could conceive. Something only her friends are equipped to help her overcome.

Eleanor West’s “No Quests” rule is about to be broken.

This book, wow this book. I absolutely adore the wayward children series, and this may be one of my favorite books on the series so far.

As now we are back were third installment left us (After a brief flashback to Lundy’s story) the sotyr keeps moving always to places you’ll nver think the author will go to.

I’m completely aazed by the power and imagination Seanan McGuire has to tell these stories, always seeing different world based on different kinds of ideas. You could tell a million stories about each world and she melts all of them in one single series. Amazing.

The story once again takes us to the Moors to where Jack and Jill (the twin sisters) found their dor, but this time we go with a few of our friends from the Eleanor’s house. They’ll be looking for their friend in the Moors only to find one of the creepiest worlds (this far, in my opinion).

I’m already in love with the character since the very first moment, and i think the author is doing a great job with all of them.

There are still some worlds i’m hoping to see, and more importantly a kid who finds a doorway to our own world, but that hadn’t happened yet.

This book is a lot about the sisters, Jack and Jill and i can’t help but have a lot of crazy theories about these books..

One of them comes with a huge spoiler aside so beware the spoiler.

Beofre you go i’ll say i gave the book 5 stars.

If you haven’t read the book yet, you can leave already this review.

I know there’s a little song about Jack and Jill ;

Jack and Jill went up the hill
To fetch a pail of water
Jack fell down and broke his crown
And Jill came tumbling after

Jack got up, and home did trot
As fast as he could caper
To old Dame Dob, who patched his nob
With vinegar and brown paper

Jack and Jill went up the hill
To fetch a pail of water
Jack fell down and broke his crown
And Jill came tumbling after

As we know the book is called come tumbling down like in the song and it’s about a Jack & Jill, the one falling in the book was Jill but believe it may be a lie. I feel the one who died was Jack how broke her crown and Jill came tumbling after. Jill may lie and pretend to be her sister for some reason, we don’t know it yet. But that’s the feeling i got from the ending of the book.

And that’s all for now, hope you have a great reading!
