Summary: Dash and Lily have had a tough year since they first fell in love among the shelves of their favorite bookstore. Lily’s beloved grandfather suffered a heart attack, and his difficult road to recovery has taken a major toll on her typically sunny disposition.

With only twelve days left until Christmas—Lily’s favorite time of the year—Dash, Lily’s brother Langston, and their closest friends must take Manhattan by storm to help Lily recapture the unique holiday magic of a glittering, snow-covered New York City in December.

Since we’ve last seen Dash and Lily things hasn’t been the best. After a rough year together, Lily has lost all her cheer for the holidays and Langston (Lily’s brother) ask Dash for help, he needs to get Lily’s christmas spirit back before the holidays.

I don’t really know how to feel about this book. I read it immediatly after finish the first one because i fell for the characters really bad but i feel like maybe the book wasn’t necessary.

Let’s talk about the story because we already talked about the characters and the writing style in the previous review.

I was expecting Dash and Lily having a great time together. It took them so much time to be together, i wanted them to be happy. Clearly, for a story to be written there are not happy moments unless it’s the final chapter or two of a book.

I don’t complain about the plot, the plot was fun and interesting.

I just wanted them so much to be happy with one another, at times it was painful to watch and it got me very preocuppied about the last book, Mind the gap, Dash and Lily, because i’m pretty sure it is gonna be even a bigger mess than this one, since i already read the summary and it sounds like it’s gonna hurt me.

After reading this book i have my questions regarding the next book, since i felt a bit disappointed by this one… should i keep reading? should i leave it here as they ended up pretty happy? I don’t know what to do. If you ead the third book please let me know your opinion on the matter.

Overall, it is a nice book about christmas spirit and romance, i give it maybe a 3.5 stars rounding it up to 4 on goodreads.

Did you read this book? Did you enjoy it? Would you be reading it after watching/reading Dash and Lily’s book of dares? Please leave your comment down below!
