So i decided to have a little fun this month, so i’ll be posting booktags about the season and the end of the year every Saturday! Hope you have has much fun as i’ll have doing them!
The first Booktag of the season is – Tis The Season BookTag. This tag was created by RichardDenney and i answered it back in 2015, but i thought to myself, 2015 was so long ago why not do it again?!
1. Do you have a favorite Winter read?
I don’t know it is a favorite yet, but i’m really looking forward to reading Dash And Lily’s Book of Dares this month.
2. Find a book with blue on the cover!
It’s not all blue, i know, but it’s one of my favorite covers of all time, so shout out to the illustrator and also to the author because the book is amazing.
3. Find a book you’d use as the star on a Christmas tree?
I have too many covers i love, so i chose my favorite of the year, which is also tree so i guess it could also be the christmas tree itself. I love the covers of this series, The Wayward Children, so if it’s already here i’ll recommmend it to all of you, since it’s a unique kind of story. It’s short books and each one a world by itself (literally). You can find it’s first 5 instalments already out and the next one is coming out next January.
4. Pick one fictional place that would be perfect for a Winter vacation!
Maybe I’m over Harry Potter, but Hogwarts will always be the perfect place for christmas. I always wanted to see the place and the peaceful it would have in christmas would be the perfect time to enjoy it.
5. Pick one fictional character you’d take with you on your Winter vacation!
I think, now that i grew up, i’d want to spend my time with a favorite that i couldn’t appreciate much before, and that would be my wonderful Jerusha Abbott from Daddy-Long-Legs… we both love reading, learning and writing, so we would be in the same mind, i guess of either spending our winter vacation on a cabin talking, reading and writing or seeing the world together, because we both see it with so much wonder.
6. Name one book on your Wishlist this year!
I love geek culture and i love making lists, so i guess the books i have right now on my wishlist are books about those things.
7. Favorite Holiday drink, treat, & movie?
For a favorite holiday drink i’ll always have the hot cocoa, it just fills me with a lot of wonderful memories i never want to forget. For a treat, i’d love to try on a Gingerbread Man, we don’t make those here where i live. And as for the movie… well, my new favorite christmas movie is Noelle.
And that’s all for this time! I tag Everyone who wants to do it!
