Hey there, everyone! Since we are in the Halloween Season i thought to share with you some of my favorite horror movies so you can check them out and maybe watch them this season!

For those of you who don’t know me much, i’m a huge fan of horror movies and tv shows, i just love the adrenaline if gives you when you watch them.

Because of that i decided to share with you some of my favorite horror movies that aren’t very popular or mentioned (at least most people i know never heard of them), i hope you enjoy them or at least get a little scare from them.

A washed out red image of a woman with arms oustretched as if being crucified

STIGMATA (1999)

When a young woman becomes afflicted by stigmata, a priest is sent to investigate her case, which may have severe ramifications for his faith and for the Catholic Church itself.

I watched this movies for the first time when i was 10 and i never forgot it. Obviously, since then i watched it a few times and though i don’t find it scary anymore i still like it a lot.

Butterfly Kisses Poster

BUTTERFLY KISSES (2018)

A filmmaker discovers a box of video tapes depicting two students’ disturbing film project featuring a local horror legend, The Peeping Tom. As he sets out to prove this story is real and release it as a work of his own, he loses himself and the film crew following him into his project.

When i first heard of this movie i become obsessed with the premise. After watching t i was obsessed with the supernatural character in it, Peeping Tom. For some reason i just ADORE Peeping Tom. This movie, a documentary inside a documentary is such a great idea it still blows my mind. Let me know if you watch and enjoy it.

The Vast of Night Poster

THE VAST OF THE NIGHT (2019)

One night in New Mexico, in the late 1950s, a switchboard operator and radio DJ discover a strange audio frequency which could change the future forever.

Another movie that obsessed me for days when i watched it. It is so beautifully done, i just can’t even begin to explain it. You just have to watch this movie. It’s amazingly beautiful.

Creep Poster

CREEP (2014) and CREEP 2 (2017)

A young videographer answers an online ad for a one-day job in a remote town to record the last messages of a dying man. When he notices the man’s odd behavior, he starts to question his intentions.

I just love so much the way the main actor plays. he is just the best. This story is so creepy (duh) and twisted, i just can’t get my eyes away every time i watch it. It is wickedly adictive and great.

Phoenix Forgotten Poster

PHOENIX FORGOTTEN (2017)

20 years after three teenagers disappeared in the wake of mysterious lights appearing above Phoenix, Arizona, unseen footage from that night has been discovered, chronicling the final hours of their fateful expedition.

I first heard of this movie from my favorite youtubers, and since then i’ve been a fan. This movie has something about it i just can’t pinpoint but it’s totally compeling. It may not have the best effects and may not be the best movie ever, but it’s beautiful in a different kind of way, and i just truly adore it.

Summer of 84 Poster

SUMMER OF 84 (2018)

After suspecting that their police officer neighbor is a serial killer, a group of teenage friends spend their summer spying on him and gathering evidence, but as they get closer to discovering the truth, things get dangerous.

This may not be the best movie out there but man, that ending. The first time i finished watching it i just couldn’t stop thinking about it for days.

Dark Feed Poster

DARK FEED (2013)

A film crew moves into an abandoned psychiatric hospital with a shadowy past to shoot a low budget horror movie.

This movie had me thinking about it to this day. There are some images you just can’t get out of your head even if you’d want to. I don’t remember how i found this movie but i’ve been trying to make people watch it for a long time, i just liked it so so much.

Well, those are my recommendations for this halloween, i hope you give at least one of them a chance because they are different and amazing.
