October’s *spooky* TBR

Oh, halloween season is here!

I have to admit i love horror movies and October is because of that one of my favorite times of the year! The thing is … i almost hadn’t read any horror/thriller books in a very very VERY long time.

Feeling a little ashamed to admit i don’t read horror books i decided this is the perfect moment to start doing so. Which means this Ocotober i’ll be challenging myself to only try and read horror/triller fiction!

I researched a little on the topic because i didn’t want to come in with empty hands this months, so here is my hopeful TBR for the month of October.

I’ll say i won’t be reading Stephen King this month, because i would need more than a month to read his scariest books (such as IT, although i own some), his books are just huge and i’m planning on reading as muchas i can. The one Stephen King book i’m gonna try this month is Carrie, it’s relatively short and i love the movie.

So, without further ado here’s my TBR list for October:

House of Leaves

House of Leaves by Mark Z. Danielewski

705 pages

I know this one is a big book, and because of it i won’t be reading many others this big. I just got this book for my birthday last year and i haven’t read it yet. As far as i understand this book is apparently dead scary and i can’t wait to get my hand on this one. Wish me luck!

The Whisper Man

The Whisper Man by Alex North

355 pages

I saw this book at the bookstore about a month ago and i just fall in love for some reason with the cover and the description. I really hope i enjoy it as much as i enjoy having it on my my shelves.

The Girl in the Video

The Girl in the Video by Michael David Wilson

105 pages

A novella that caught my eye the moment i saw it, and i’m really wanting to read it.

Clown in a Cornfield

Clown in a Cornfield by Adam Cesare

352 pages

I don’t know why but this book just calls and begs me to read it, so i might as well do it this October, because why no?!

Carrie by Stephen King

256 pages

I adore the movie and it’s one of my all-time favorites, so i might as well already read the book. I think it’s time. I’m ready.

Even If We Break

Even If We Break by Marieke Nijkamp

336 pages

I read previous books by the author and i loved them so i’ll be giving this one a try too. I truly hope it stands with her other works because they were fascinating.

What will you be reading this halloween?!
