Reader Problems Book Tag

Hello everyone! it’s Saturday, and as many other Saturdays before i’m bringing you another tag! This time i’ll be doing the Reader Problems Book Tag originally created by About To Read ! you can watch her video >>here<<

And now without further ado, let’s start;

1.) You have 20,000 books on your TBR. How in the world do you decide what to read next?

Well, since i’m a mood reader i’ll probably start looking at all the books in the TBR, i’ll manage to choose a few ones (about ten) that may fit my mood, i’ll stare at them for a while and then somehow hope i can come to a decision. If it’s taking too long i’ll may decide by choosing the cover i like most or something like that.

2.) You’re halfway through a book and you’re just not loving it. Do you quit or are you committed?

It actually depends on how long the book is, if it’s a 250/300 pages book i may keep reading, if it has 500 i’ll leave it alone, unless it’s a series i started reading already … i guess it all depends on the book really… or the gut feeling i have at the moment.

3. The end of the year is coming and you’re so close, but so far away on your Goodreads reading challenge. Do you try to catch up and how?

I’m most likely to give up, having a deadline would probably put in in a stress and then it will bring me to a reading slump, which isn’t the best thing to happen when you have a reading deadline, so i’ll rather don’t catch up than stressing out too much.

4.) The covers of a series you love do. not. match. How do you cope?

I think i’ll have to just suffer in silence, i already spend too much money on books, i cannot afford to also start rebuying  books because of their covers, one day i will, but for now the day hasn’t come yet.

5.) Every one and their mother loves a book you really don’t like. Who do you bond with over shared feelings?

I don’t thinnk i’ll have someone to bond with about it, i’ll just write about it on my blog, maybe, and hope no one gets offended by my opinion.

6.) You’re reading a book and you are about to start crying in public. How do you deal?

I’ll try to be discret about it, but i’m not a person that can stop herself when crying, so i’ll do it anyway. Actually it happens to me a lot, really.., yeah, most of the contemporary books i read make me cry at some pint, so … i cry a lot.

7.) A sequel of a book you loved just came out, but you’ve forgotten a lot from the prior novel. Will you re-read the book? Skip the sequel? Try to find a synopsis on Goodreads? Cry in frustration?!?!?!

First i’ll be frustrated then i’ll probably reread the book, anyway, i loved it , so i won’t have a problem with it.

8.) Reading ADD. You’ve picked up and put down 5 books in the last month. How do you get over your reading slump?

Well, up until this last year, i usually would pick up one of my “get out of a slump” books like, Twilight, Harry Potter, The Gospel According to Larry and such, but now i just keep trying other books until i manage to finish one of them.

9.) There are so many new books coming out that you’re dying to read! How many do you actually buy?

Well, if i’mdying to read them, i’m going to buy them all, some as paperbacks, some as ebooks and some as audiobooks, but i’ll get them all somehow.

10.) After you’ve bought the new books you can’t wait to get to, how long do they sit on your shelf before you get to them?

The ones that i really want to read, like, sequels of series i love, books by authors i love and such won’t wait much, normally i have backup books – meaning ones i’ll like to read if have the time and the ASAP books, that i start reading the moment i get them… so yeah, and which ASAP book i’ll read first? well, the first that matches my mood that very moment.

And well, my lovelies, those are my answers for this tag! I wasn’t tagged, but i really wanted to do it, so now i’ll say that i’m tagging anyone that wants to do it!

Tag.. Tag.. Tag.. you are it!

‘Til Next Time 😉

Clems.
